You will find many wine tasting rooms sprinkled throughout town and most will ship wine to you back home. A lovely bottle of wine and cheese from the local cheese shop was waiting to welcome us when we arrived. Now that my husband and I are empty-nesters, we love to get away whenever we can. We had the opportunity to visit one of our favorite California cities, Carmel-by-the-Sea in Monterey County, California and stay at the warm and welcoming Hofsas House. While the weather was not the best during our visit, it rained quite a bit, but it turned out to be a cozy, very relaxing time to reconnect and unwind for a few days. Highlights of our drive were the Ghost Trees at Pescadero Point – they are sun-bleached, needless cypress trees that are quite spooky.

Downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea

The city center of Monterey is also a 15 minute drive from the hotel. Hofsas House is perfectly located a couple blocks away from the main downtown hub of Carmel-by-the-Sea. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the best selection of restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. We have taken many roads up and down California’s famous Highway 1, but this was our first time staying in Carmel-by-the-Sea. This world renowned little beach town has been a popular vacation destination for many decades, and we finally got the opportunity to see why. Carmel is an exceptional destination on the Pacific Coastline because of its abundance of natural beauty and picturesque landscape.

However, there are several rooms with entrances located at street level. Travelers with mobility challenges should call the hotel in advance to discuss their needs and accommodations will be confirmed. Hofsas House Hotel is located in Carmel-by-the-Sea and was a perfect fit for my family.

Fine Dining in Carmel

I was pleasantly surprised to find plentiful and free parking right near the beach. Head west on Ocean Avenue and you will end up at the beach. The hotel is ideal for family reunions and small conferences. The conference room is located poolside and includes a full kitchen. Guests are welcome to bring their own chef or work with the Hofsas House chef. Breakfast in our room avoids having to drive and wait in a restaurant.

What we absolutely loved about our room were the two full bathrooms. This is the most family-friendly amenity a hotel can offer! One was located inside the bedroom and the other off the living area. This was a much-appreciated design, especially for my teen daughter. Two bathrooms enabled us to avoid the typical morning backup.

Hofsas House Hotel in Carmel: Review

When you pull up to Hofsas House, you will feel like you stumbled into a European Inn. Many of the rooms have ocean views above the treetops where the sunsets are magnificent, A walk to the beautiful beach is a pleasant stroll through town, about a half mile away. We found a bottle of wine and delicious cheese from The Cheese Shop Carmel waiting in our room. We visited this shop to purchase cheese and crackers to enjoy on our ride home. This was the first time my daughter visited a cheese specialty shop (not in a grocery store). After the long drive, we decided to pick up dinner and bring it back to the hotel.

Where to Stay in Carmel-by-the-Sea: Hofsas House Hotel Review

The property is perfectly located and had a great view of the ocean. The property is older and the rooms are decorated in a very eclectic style. We began with an appetizer of swiss pastry pastetli filled with three types of mushrooms and parmesan cheese.

Hofsas House is four stories connected by exterior staircases however, only one story sits above street level. The office is located on San Carlos Street near Fourth Street. In order to set my disabled daughter up for a successful trip, especially a road trip, my friend Judy and our service dogs joined us. Thanks to our lovely family-friendly accommodations and a nice blend of activities with downtime, we had a fun and successful trip. My family embarked on a road trip north from Los Angeles to Carmel-by-the-Sea. I had not taken a road trip to this beautiful coastal area in many years.

Check out Yvonne’s very different take on Hofsas House and Carmel, Dog-Friendly Travel; Hofsas House in Carmel. We had a delicious hearty breakfast at Friar Tuck’s in Carmel the next morning, which is a great local joint, clearly a favorite of the residents. We sampled the Firecracker Shrimp, which was slightly spicy and really tasty, and some delicately fried zucchini and broccoli as appetizers. I had a refreshing arugula and beet salad for my main course and I loved it.

This Summer we took a road trip up the California coast, seeing the sights and visiting colleges, and we stopped in Carmel-by-the-Sea for an overnight visit. This deli is just a quick 3 minute walk from Hofsas House and they have made-to-order sandwiches and yummy tamales. We picked up a picnic lunch and took it with us to Carmel Beach (scroll below to see photos). We travel as a little unit with our toddler daughter Scout. It’s necessary for us to have a refrigerator for her milk and baby food.

During our visit we explored both the Whaler’s Cove and the Cypress Grove South Shore. If you head in the direction of the Cypress Grove South Shore, there’s a long trail on top of the cliffs that gives you stunning oceans views. The trail is very well maintained and we had no problem pushing our stroller along the path. All of the seals and otters we saw were at the Cypress Grove Shore.

Besides the family history behind the hotel, it’s also a beautiful Bavarian-inspired inn with an artistic, European style. I love seeing the charming houses, many with beautiful flowers and landscaping. Carrie said the heated pool had been redone since our last visit but the weather was too cold and rainy to take a dip this time.

The Deli was jam-packed full of delicious options including a salad bar. We chose made-to-order sandwiches (turkey, tuna, and ham) and all were delicious. This is a great place to purchase picnic fixings for a day at the beach or parks. The fondue pot was filled with Gruyere, Emmenthaler, and Appenzeller cheese with roasted tomatoes and cream. We dipped bread, vegetables, and apples into a pot of gooey deliciousness. We had a fun evening filled with lots of laughter and a new fondue dining experience.

Not having to behave around other guests first thing is also helpful. The three other stories of the Hotel were built below street level against a hillside. There is plenty of off-street parking that can be accessed from San Carlos Street next to the office and from a driveway down to the ground level. All of the rooms have Dutch doors and with the top half open, the ocean breezes were lovely. Carmel-by-the-Sea has some unique ordinances to ensure the town maintains its non-commercial natural charm.

The Museum is a manageable size and fully ADA accessible with an elevator. 17-Mile Drive winds along the rugged and extraordinarily beautiful coast. We drove along the world-famous Pebble Beach golf course. There are many Points of Interest in which to stop and enjoy with plenty of parking.

This welcoming mural was painted by Maxine Albro for her friend Donna Hofsas, the founder of the hotel. You will also recognize her distinctive paintings in the lobby and her decorative touches throughout the hotel to enhance the charming Bavarian theme. Maxine took a trip to Mexico after her formal art training and was influenced by Diego Rivera’s stylized figures. The hotel has been family owned by the Theis family for four generations and seven decades. The town is located on the Pacific coast about 330 miles north of Los Angeles and 120 miles south of San Francisco. We loved the big room, the originality as well as the friendly owner and staff there.

Amenities of Hofsas House HotelGreat facilities! Review score, 8.1

With the free off-street parking, it's the perfect place to park the car and walk to explore the area. While the beach is about a 20-minute walk away, it's still easily accessible, especially if guests opt for taking the car. Just 5-minutes’ walk from restaurants and shops in Carmel city center, Hofsas House Hotel features a heated outdoor pool and a continental breakfast with fresh pastries. Free WiFi is included in all rooms.A TV with cable channels offers in-room entertainmen.

We recently had the opportunity to explore Carmel By The Sea, CA, and stay at the enchanting Hofsas House hotel. We had such a fantastic time we couldn’t wait to tell everyone all about it. The restaurant has been a Carmel favorite since 1980 and is known for excellent food and wine, and attentive service. Holman Ranch was our favorite wine from our last visit and now has a tasting room in town.

MomsLA is dedicated to helping busy parents make family memories here in SoCal.

As the sun went down the light would hit the crystal knobs dispersing little rainbows all over our room. Each hotel room has one-of-a-kind furniture and decor touches, making each visit a unique experience. Our two night stay at the Hofsas House Hotel made our visit not only comfortable and convenient, but also colorful and full of sweet moments. We made good use of the kitchen in our room by prepping her meals, washing her bottles, we kept snacks for ourselves and chiledl our wine and cheese. Wake up and rise to a sweet and fresh continental breakfast in the Hofsas House Lobby. We enjoyed muffins, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, milk, orange juice and hot beverages such as coffee and tea.

I was looking forward to photographing the spectacular scenery. We stayed at the Hofsas House Hotel Family-Friendly Lodging. My family stayed in Pacific Grove several years ago, and we have fond memories of the area. It’s a beautiful part of the world and a nice change from our Southern California beaches and weather. We were super impressed with this beach, the sand was so soft and sparkling white. You can either opt to walk along the Scenic Road trail that runs parallel to the ocean or you can set up a picnic on the sand, we did both!

With both the shoreline and the inland surroundings, they strike a balance between untouched nature and a well loved and manicured town. Featuring an outdoor heated pool and a sauna, Hofsas House Hotel is located in Carmel By the Sea and offers charming accommodation. Those staying at the property can also make use of free wireless internet. It was a joy to meet with her and learn about the lovely town and her family’s hotel. If you visit, she’ll likely be around spreading her warmth to new hotel guests. The village of Carmel is only 1 square mile so you can walk everywhere.

Ms. Theis arranged a special treat for us on our second evening. This restaurant is located in The Barnyard – a shopping center just ten minutes from the hotel. So, as much as we enjoyed our stay at Hofsas House and in Carmel-by-the-Sea, we will probably choose another area to stay the next time we travel with our kids.

She put away her computer, pulled up the covers and went fast to sleep. The Hofsas House is also a short drive to the best sandy beach, perfect for a picnic. Carmel Beach is a short 10 minute drive or 20 minute walk from the hotel. Popular Carmel attractions such as Point Lobos State Natural Reserve and the Carmel Mission are 15 minutes away.

You can also use hot glue or superglue as long as it quickly dries so that you won’t have problems moving the ghost around. In the following steps, cut two triangles out of gray foam sheeting, where one is smaller than the other. Place them between your eyes and glue them together so you won’t see the sides when worn.

Be sure to let the paint dry before moving on to other steps to avoid any bumps. Once dry, cut thin strips of paper towel to use as mummy wrap. Try doing this in a zig-zag pattern so that it doesn’t look too bulky. Light the candles and brush the lighter around them so that the wax starts dripping. Make sure that wax pools spill over the edge by making deep dents on the area near the surfaces. Scatter dripping candles all over the house to create a mysterious atmosphere.

What you’ll get is a very spooky Halloween cocktail that looks like the real thing but tastes far better. This photo showcases a creepy look of Chucky, where half his face is ripped off. We imagine that you could have tons of fun fooling around with your guests or your significant other by constantly changing Chucky’s position in the house. For example, the ghost’s head can be made out of an old fabric ball or just old and unused clothes wrapped in a ball. You can add wire or plastic tubes to create a stick body, just enough to hang the sheets. Or, if you want to go with the example shown in this photo, cut black felt in the shape of eyes and mouths so that you can easily sew or glue them to the sheets.

Stash the paper towel rolls around the outside of your haunted house, and when the sun sets, trick or treaters will get the feeling someone or something is watching them. Decorate your bedside table with an antique-looking lantern that casts a warm, twinkling light. This upcycled creation adds a literary twist to your decor and fits perfectly in your nocturnal reading nook. A new chapter unfolds on your porch, where body bags lounge in chairs, witches stir their mystical brews, and ghosts seem to dance on the wind.

Add a lighting effect replacing the normal globe with a black porch light. To create an abandoned house, you just need to create the illusion that the house is empty. In this Halloween-themed event, guests will have one-on-one encounters with performers and explore a haunted mausoleum and abandoned chapel. Complimentary drinks will be offered before the show, and comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended (we’re serious about the exploring part). The two first did their pop-up at Tales of the Cocktail and it was so popular they decided to bring it to nine cities this October. In Los Angeles, Black Lagoon will be popping up at Lost Property Bar in Hollywood, which will be decked out in spookiness. From the decor to the costumed live performers, there is plenty of Instagram fodder at this fun spot. It’s more about the experience than the food here, but rest assured the food and cocktail presentations are on theme.

Sinister books serve as stands for glittering skulls and ominous crows. Cheerful Jack-o-lanterns stand atop candle holders, while a garland of bats weaves its way through cobwebs and crawling spiders. I love a seasonal doormat, and I always dress up our porch with my crow one. Here’s a link to buy it online but it’s significantly cheaper if you can visit the store. My family and I are big fans of popcorn nights, especially with a spooky movie! If you love caramel too, check out my recipe that is too good to be true.

All you need is some white frosting, chocolate sprinkles or cocoa powder, black licorice laces, and black icing tubes. Use the black icing to create two eyes with uneven pupils as well as two dots above them. If necessary, use a toothpick, or a paper towel dipped in cocoa powder to make this step easier. Start by drawing out a simple witch silhouette or a witch’s hat on an old piece of plywood or corrugated board.

Depending on the Halloween theme you choose for the outside of your house, you can select relevant decoration ideas for the indoors. Here is the list of props that will leave your home frightening and scream-worthy. Use skeletons, ghouls, tombstones, artificial rats, and monsters to design your house as a set for a gory scene. Place old dolls and furniture outside to create a scary stage, and add a smoke machine or frightening sound effects to make the house decorations even spookier. For this Halloween theme, you can also hang scary-looking figures around the house. Halloween is one of those holidays that is easy to decorate for using figurines.

Instead of mixing carved pumpkins, aliens, and zombies, choose one key idea with lots of small details that your neighbors can look at for hours. There are many scare-inducing options for a Halloween outdoor display, but sticking with one immersive theme and tone is better. Give the pumpkins and ghosts a break and bring out something that scares just about everyone, creepy dolls. Whether you use old dolls you already own or a few that you’ve thrifted, give the dolls a Halloween makeover by adding dirt or paint to their faces, hair and clothes. In addition to candles, there are all kinds of Halloween haunted house ideas using lighting. And in my opinion, this is one of the most important parts of making your home look spooky.

I don’t know about you, but I love to bake once the weather changes, and this recipe hits the spot. If you are just as obsessed as I am with the Harry Potter movie series, then you will love this DIY! I promise that I found the easiest way to get these spooky candles floating on your front porch or Halloween home. There are so many inexpensive animated Halloween props available this time of year that are great for making your house feel haunted. To do this right, cover as much of the wall as possible with plastic or paper scenes that will make your house look completed different, especially under low light. If you do, it's a great way to decorate for nearly any holiday without changing up your look too much.

Homeowners in Burbank have taken it upon themselves to bring Disney right to their neighborhood with their ‘fantasmic’-themed Halloween decorations. Expect to see tons of spirited yard displays, inflated monsters, illuminated jack-o-lanterns, and ghostly projections in this decked-out slice of suburbia. Those looking to be surrounded by all things Halloween migrate to this festive street for a reason.

Bob Baker Marionette Theater is the oldest children’s theater company in Los Angeles and one of the few remaining marionette theaters left. Halloween is a great time to check out the puppetry at this theater, whether or not it is your first time. The theater will be performing a family-friendly Halloween Spooktacular, an hour-long show with over one hundred puppets.

The Haunt With No Name has been providing families with 30 years of spookiness! Generally, The Haunt starts at the end of October — the last few days leading up to Halloween — and features a kid-friendly yard haunt that has many decorations and special effects. Be sure to check the website for the most current information regarding this year’s festivities. Setting up timers to coincide with the onset of darkness can generally help to make your home feel more dramatic. Set your lights, fog machine, sound machines, and animatronics to come on after sunset so that the spookiest time of day is greeted by the awakening of your spooky house.

Cute Ways to Decorate for Halloween That Aren’t Scary

Fill your jar about halfway with the black wax, and add the wick. Then, cover the jar entirely with melted wax, making sure to leave about 1 cm from the top. Then, hold down the wick with the rubber band (or hair ties) for about 10 minutes until it is soaked. You can make a few extra pieces to keep as a backup since they could break if you touch them too often.

If you want, you can cover the entire surface of the table with white or black candles that will light up as the evening falls. Don’t forget to make a circle around the witch’s altar with big, thick candles! If you don’t have those, use pieces of wood and paint them black. Halloween decorations don’t have to be cheesy and over the top, as long as you follow the latest trends. And if you’re looking for a way to make your front door look spooky yet elegant, then this black and white vine wreath is just what you need for outdoor Halloween decorations.

DIY a simple, minimalist ghost centerpiece that’s as charming as it is festive. Keep it simple and it's the perfect, unexpected look for your Halloween dinner party. Instead of scattering pumpkins on your porch, decorate with spooky (yet charming) lanterns. Fill them with candles or mini pumpkins to give your home a touch of Halloween charm that is not overboard. Plus, so many of these festive and versatile decorating options can stay up all season, even after October 31st. If you want to make your uncarved, unpainted pumpkins and gourds last longer, some suggest a bleach bath.

What you’ll see and experience goes way beyond a “yard.” You’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into a true Halloween world, complete with red lights and spooky things to see all around. This is a huge list of Haunted Houses and cool Halloween decorations with a special scavenger hunt game happening in the month of October. They include Yard Displays, Walk-Throughs, Haunted Shows, Drive-Throughs, and Paid Attractions.

Make sure to apply several coats of paint if you plan to attach the sign to trees or outdoor walls. You can also use coloring markers to create custom faces on your ghosts, depending on what you think looks best. Make sure to let all of your paint dry before moving on to the next step, so it doesn’t smear. For this project, you need three wooden furniture legs, black paint, brass hardware fittings, super glue, candles, and sandpaper (optional). Begin by painting the furniture legs black, and let them dry. The color of the candlesticks is equally essential, but you can buy another spray paint color to change it if you don’t like it.

Instead of opting for the traditional field pumpkin to adorn your porch or interior this season, opt for unique heirloom pumpkins in fun colors such as blue, green, or pink instead. Candles are the perfect accent for basically any holiday because they add such a warm, inviting glow that can feel incredibly festive. Create a little vignette using a handful of Halloween-inspired candles. There is so much to love about a nostalgic Halloween film like Hocus Pocus. Embrace your inner witch and pop out the spells and potions with vintage-inspired bottles and candles and hang a banner as an ode to your favorite film. "Do I deeply consider myself to be an organizer and an activist and a good steward of community? Absolutely," Turner said. "But people will continuously ask you to produce and produce and perform, right, and have another press conference or press release about another death of another child. And, like, I'm a human too." On the day of KOSU's interview with Turner, LGBTQ+ rights activists gathered to honor Nex Benedict outside the capitol. Among them was Navy veteran and trans woman Diana Lettkeman, from Clinton, a city of about 8,000 people 75 miles west of Oklahoma City. That makes Turner mainly a figurehead for the LGBTQ+ community in Oklahoma.

During the height of the colonial revival period (1910–1940), "this style comprised 25 percent of the suburban houses built," Pennoyer says. The unique style is still an appealing option for some buyers who want to own a historic home as it has proven to be worth the investment once the time and budget are spent reviving the structure. Tudor style houses were typically designed with interiors that complemented the exterior in terms of design style. The asymmetry of the front facade of the house also enhanced the interior layout, Peter notes. It "offered great flexibility to the architect in terms of interior planning," he says.

Property History for 4263 Olympiad Drive

Built in 1950 by the influential Atlanta architect Lewis “Buck” Crook, Jr., in the city’s Buckhead neighborhood, the house offered a solid foundation to a family that was eager to honor its history while creating a comfortable home. Working with architect Julia Stainback and builder Mike Helenbrook, Turner sought to restore that legacy while setting the scene for a happy future. “The main thing that was important, besides [making the design] practical and livable, was incorporating family heirlooms,” says Turner. According to Pennoyer, innovative masonry veneer techniques developed in the early 1900s made brick and stone homes more affordable to build. However, the intricacies of Tudors still were quite expensive for the average home builder. This led to the style fizzling out after World War II, when the country turned its attention to focus on new, affordable housing developments that could be built quickly.

He acquired an adjacent lot and spent seven years completing a six-bed, nine-bath home designed by Troy Adams. The characters in this play, set in the 1910s in a Pittsburgh boarding house run by the nervous Seth Holly (the warm-centered Dexter Zollicoffer) are constantly on the move, searching for someone, escaping from someone, likely both at once. And this being America, a cottage industry already has sprung up in the business of people finding, even though the people finders, such as Rutherford Selig (Gary Houston), also may double as the people losers. Selig is one of the very few white characters in Wilson’s plays and, as Houston well understands, his role here is to at first make you wonder if that’s really true.

"They can always make an example out of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, of the Muslim community, of the Black community," Turner said. "If you're too loud, or if you don't dress how we like you to dress, if you don't assimilate to this body, then you don't get access to it." "Sometimes — most of the time — it's like an out-of-body experience, which I think is very synonymous with being trans," Turner said.

Turner is an Equal Opportunity Employer - race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or other characteristics protected by applicable law. Our leadership team understands that a successful business is not just about delivering exceptional services but also contributing to the well-being of the communities it serves. Therefore, we prioritize community development and growth alongside providing first-rate solutions and services to our clients.

But Mike Crespin, a legislative politics expert and director of the Carl Albert Center at the University of Oklahoma, says Turner's role still matters. The teen, Nex Benedict, had died the day after a fight in a school bathroom and the state medical examiner ruled it a suicide. It made Turner think about the anti-LGBTQ+ rights laws passed by their colleagues. In June 1923, Mrs. Ramsey sold the property to Monta R. Ferguson who divided the property and created the Ferguson Subdivision.

An exhibition of works by all four artists will also open at the London museum from September 25 to February 16, 2025. "They may not be in my district, but they still represent me as part of the community," Lettkeman said of Turner. "We have a nonbinary person who is hearing me and sees me in a way no other representative has because they know what it's like to be me," said RPC Perez, a 29-year-old Oklahoman during a recent LGBTQ+ storytelling event at the capitol. "They've heard my pain and my grief. And I have the utmost belief that they will act in those ways to better this state for me." As a part of the small Democratic minority in Oklahoma's legislature, Turner doesn't have the power to stop laws forbidding trans youth from getting gender-affirming care and from using bathrooms that fit their gender identity at school. A portrait of Oklahoma teenager Nex Benedict, who died in March, hangs next to a nonbinary pride flag signed by demonstrators outside the Oklahoma State Department of Education last month.

There are four bedrooms and 2.75 bathrooms, including a master suite with a step-up bed platform. To find the balance in it all, the designer turned to nontraditional colors and treatments—two monochrome rooms, for instance, in olive green and dusty rose—that feel modern but underscore historic details. According to Eddings, the charm of the Tudor design should remain a priority. From Dutch doors to beadboard or an arched window, decorative accents are the secret to honoring the home without keeping it stuck in the past.

Upon moving to Los Angeles, Nathan successfully merged his greatest passions - design, travel and food - into his eponymous shop. Located on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, Nathan’s store has become an expression of his years traveling, a faithful source for the country’s leading interior designers, as well as some of the most stylish individuals from coast to coast. An avid cook, Nathan equipped his past store on Almont with a full kitchen so that he could host intimate dinners and parties on site.

To the right, there’s a soaker tub and cabinet vanity that’s perfect for applying your makeup, and to the left is a double vanity and sinks as well as a recessed, private toilet. The newly minted “Turner House,” a three-bedroom, three-bath guest cottage along the resort’s sycamore-lined main drive, is the designer’s first project at The Alisal. Since first opening to guests after World War II by converting some of its cattlemen’s quarters to resort accommodations, The Alisal has undergone few substantial updates.

As acting head wrangler Meghan Taylor points out—during a horseback ride along a portion of the resort’s 50 miles of trails that wind through its 10,000 acres of yellow-green hills—the landscape has remained unaltered for centuries. “But for the fences and the occasional paved road, nothing out here has changed in the last 200 years,” says Meghan, a particularly remarkable observation given the ranch is only 130 miles from Los Angeles. “What we see today—the sheer vastness of building-free vistas in every direction—is exactly what the Spanish settlers saw,” she adds. Tate Britain has named Pio Abad, Claudette Johnson, Jasleen Kaur, and Delaine Le Bas as the four artists shortlisted for its annual Turner Prize. The U.K.’s most prestigious award for contemporary art is now in its 40th year and has, across the decades, spotlighted some of the country’s biggest names, including Anish Kapoor, Antony Gormley, Rachel Whiteread, Damien Hirst, and Steve McQueen.

Turner was elected in 2020 from Oklahoma City and one of the state's few deeply Democratic districts. Not only were they the first openly nonbinary state lawmaker and one of the first trans lawmakers in the country, they're also Black and Muslim. "These houses, with their myriad materials, solid masonry, elaborate forms, and decorations, were expensive to build and mostly appeared in wealthy suburbs," Pennoyer says. They were nicknamed "Stockbroker's Tudors" in reference to owners who gained wealth during the booming 1920s. The power couple purchased the nearly one-acre property for $14.1 million in 2019, shortly after it was built, property records show.

Without taking into consideration other costs, the pair have made a profit of $1.1 million on the sale. The property was renamed Turner House in 2002 honoring Mrs. E.P. Turner, founder of the Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts. The Society has a Board of Directors committed to preserving the beauty and elegance of her structure for the benefit of Oak Cliff neighborhoods and the Dallas community.

Spread across roughly 3,000 square feet are three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, an indoor-outdoor living room, a rounded breakfast nook, a chef’s kitchen and a dining room with a wine closet.
